In Africa gorillas are a symbol of family and protection, and are often considered to bring positivity and peace. Living in groups, never separating from each other and taking care of one another is in a Gorilla’s nature. It was this metaphor that inspired the name for new Wellington burger joint Gorilla Burgers, a place to hang out with friends and family while friendly staff take care of you. Working with illustrator Blair Sayer a distinctive Gorilla mark was designed to sit alongside bespoke hand lettering to create the Gorilla Burgers logo.
